Our Team of Court Reporters
We have an incredible team of court reporters with years of experience who are dedicated to serving our clients in the best possible way. Our court reporters have state and national certifications that demonstrate their commitment and expertise. Our ability to preserve the record is based in our dedication to accuracy when taking dictation and then transcribing the testimony into a final product for you.
To become a New Mexico Certified Court Reporter (CCR), court reporters must pass the Registered Professional Reporter examination given by the National Court Reporters Association. No other state or national certifications are accepted.
The Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) is the National Court Reporters Association’s foundational certification. The RCR certification is only earned after passing an online skills test and a written knowledge test.
We offer a complete slate of court reporting services including realtime depositions, depositions in person and over the internet, videoconferencing, linked and embedded transcript files and many other support services. We will provide our services where and when you need them.

Theresa DuBois, RPR, CCR
Theresa DuBois was born and raised in Illinois, then attended college in Iowa, earning her degree in court reporting and licensure as a National Registered Professional Reporter. Her adventurous soul headed for the sunshine and moved to Southwest Florida. She was licensed in Florida as an official court reporter for 10 years, covering depositions, hearings and trial work of all genre.
Since 1996, Theresa fell in love with and moved to New Mexico, working as a freelance court reporter for the last 25 years.
Theresa has covered medical malpractice cases, WIPP hearings and investigations, cases regarding asbestos, mesothelioma and everything else in between during her career.
In her free time Theresa loves to fly and crew for a hot air balloon in the beautiful New Mexico skies. She also enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling and spoiling her dog rotten.

Denise Kopan, CCR
Denise was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduating from high school, she enrolled in Chicago College of Commerce, where she earned her Certificate in Court Reporting in 1975.
She continued to work all facets of court reporting there until 1977, when she came to the Land of Enchantment and has been serving the Albuquerque legal community since.
Denise has worked in federal court, NMED hearings, PED Due Process Hearings, arbitrations, mediations and depositions.
Denise enjoys volunteering, music, gardening, cooking, eating and laughing.

Kim Stone
Office Manager Extraordinaire!
Kim Stone is the glue that holds us all together and makes everything run extremely smoothly in our office. Kim has been an office manager in the court reporting field for 22 years and knows all the ins and outs of the legal field. Without her we’d be lost!
